Booking and hours
Do you take walk-ins?
Yes. Walk-ins are welcome whenever a chair is free. For colour, treatments and busy Thursday and Friday evenings, booking ahead is the safest way to get your time.
How do I book an appointment?
Call or text 0450 871 619, or send the booking form on this page and we will confirm your time. You can also walk in to Shop 5a at Booval Fair Shopping Centre.
What are your opening hours?
We are open 7 days: Monday to Wednesday 9 am to 6:30 pm, Thursday and Friday 9 am to 7 pm, Saturday 9 am to 6 pm and Sunday 10 am to 5 pm.
Can I book for the whole family?
Yes. Call 0450 871 619 and we will book everyone back to back with our barbers and hairdressers.
Prices
Do you charge differently for men and women?
Men's barbering and women's hair have their own menus because the services are different. Men's cuts are fixed prices, from $29.95 for pensioners and kids up to $47.95 for a skin fade. Ladies' cuts start from $35, and colour is quoted at a free consultation.
How much is a skin fade?
A skin fade is $47.95. A fade on a zero or half guard is $42.95, and a classic scissor or clipper cut is $39.95.
How much is a ladies' haircut?
Ladies' cuts start from $35 including a wash and blow-dry.
Do you have pensioner prices?
Yes. Men's pensioner cuts are $29.95 and a discounted ladies' cut is available.
Men's barbering
What is the difference between a skin fade and a normal fade?
A skin fade goes right down to bare skin at the bottom. A zero or half fade stops at a very short clipper guard, so a little hair is left at the shortest point.
How long does a skin fade last?
Most skin fades look their sharpest for about two weeks. Many regulars book every two to three weeks to keep the blend tight.
Can I just get a beard trim without a haircut?
Yes. All beard services can be booked on their own.
Is a straight razor shave safe?
Yes. It is done by a trained barber with clean, single-use blades and careful technique.
Women's hair and colour
Do you do balayage, foils and colour?
Yes. Highlights and foils, balayage and ombre, all over colour, root refreshes and fashion colours are all done in house. Every colour starts with a free consultation so the price matches your hair.
What is the difference between balayage and foils?
Balayage is painted by hand for a soft, blended look. Foils give more even, defined lightness from root to tip.
What is the difference between keratin smoothing and rebonding?
Keratin smoothing reduces frizz and adds shine while keeping some movement. Rebonding permanently straightens the hair.
Is a trial included?
Yes. Bridal packages include a trial plus on the day hair.
Kids and seniors
How much is a kids haircut in Booval?
Boys under 12 are $29.95 and high school cuts are $35.95. Girls' cuts are priced on enquiry.
Do you do first haircuts?
Yes. We take extra time with first haircuts and keep it calm and fun.
Can kids get designs shaved in?
Yes. Design tracks start from $20 on top of the cut.

Where are you and where do I park?
We are in Shop 5a inside Booval Fair Shopping Centre, on the corner of Brisbane Road and South Station Road, Booval QLD 4304. Park at the shopping centre and walk in. Booval train station is close by.
